The War Memorial on the Clinton Riverfront has become a focal point for all veterans with stone monuments, the main Bronze pictured in part above and the new concrete platform where it all is brought into focus. I can't help but read the names listed from all conflicts and remember my time in service to this country as well as my Fathers, Grandfathers and even Great Grandfathers. Thank you to all of our Veterans!

Would You be interested in paying respect to our fallen Veterans? We could do this by forming a group of 6 minimum but up to 10 American Legion Post 190 members who would stand as a honor guard holding the American Flag at either side of the entrance to the funeral home when the casket carrying our fellow veteran is taken to its final resting place. This would require the Post 190 representatives to be dressed in our uniform shirts, Hats, black pants and black shoes-boots. We will look at providing jackets with the patches needed depending on cost!   Please give me your thoughts!! Jim Manion
